When Nick Jones asked me to host a girls evening at the Cheeky Parlour, I wasn’t quite sure what he meant. I then learnt that the ever-expanding Soho House group, the coolest and most exclusive members club in the world, had just opened a new site in Shoreditch: The Cheeky Parlour.
The Cheeky Parlour, located on Redchurch Street, is a place every girl has been dreaming about. A place where you can get your hair blow dried, your nails manicured and your make up done whilst sipping on dirty martinis, and munching on Soho Houses’ infamous dishes like Mac’n’Cheese and Sausage Roll’s by the inch, to line your stomach for the night ahead. What more could you ask for? You enter the Cheeky Parlour feeling like a tired mess, and you come out feeling like Beyoncé. As if you need more convincing, the prices of all the treatments are incredible, with manicures starting at £8 and blow-dries at £15!
The site itself boasts everything you would expect from a Soho House venue; effortlessly cool décor, making you feel completely at home and the treatment stations are impressively comfortable so whether your having a Bardot, or a pedicure, you can completely relax and unwind. There is also a hangout area, with ridiculously snug sofas where you can drink and eat in-between treatments. Heaven!
If your planning a girls night out, a birthday party or a hen do, then hiring out the Cheeky Parlor is the perfect place to do it. The staff are incredibly accommodating to your needs, and will provide you with a buffet menu of your choice, cocktails galore, and no waiting time for treatments, with up to 10 therapists on hand to facilitate your every beauty need. Oh, and goody bags can be made for all your guests on request! All us girls love getting ready together, just as much as we love gossiping over a cocktail, so isn’t it apt that you can now do both at the same time?
Thank you Soho House for introducing Cheeky to our lives!
