Last night the Golden Globes kicked off the award season in Hollywood and it was spectacular.
I joined channel E! for their Watch Along Party hosted by fashion designer Henry Holland. We were also joined by Radio 1 presenters Scott Mills and Jameela Jamil. We watched the show from the penthouse at the W Hotel London, and were treated to champagne (which I had to stay away from with Dry January!) and sushi canapés. We were filmed giving our fashion verdicts as the outfits and glamour unfolded.

The trends for the night? White, Metalics, Embellishment and Yellow! But who were my Red Carpet Winners?
1. Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Jenna looked absolutely stunning in this pale yellow Narciso Rodriguez dress, which against her sexy jet black hair created a dramatic and yet elegant look. She layered shape added glamour to the soft, simple fabric of the dress. The gold clutch also gave her a boost of tonights metallic trend.
Oh Lorde! The singer looked absolutely sensational in Narciso Rodriguez last night, who knew she scrubbed up so well? Her cropped top and trouser look was a risk on the Red Carpet for the Golden Globes but she pulled it off by making it look unbelievably chic and sophisticated. She maintained her rock chic feel and dressed age-approriate (she is only 19!), but with her slick hair and that dazzling diamond necklace she looked like a movie star and then some!
3. Leslie Mann
Leslie Mann is an actress I love, and oh my God did she look ON THE MONEY last night. A dramatic Kaufmanfranco yellow sequin dress is not a look anyone could pull off but she did it with confidence and it paid off. I think she may be the under-dog of last nights best dressed! The only thing I would have changed is to lose the earring, she didn’t need it!
4. Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt was representing the Brits last night and looked angelic in this white Michael Kors Grecian gown. I loved the cross strap on herald and the plaited hair completed the look fantastically. Her turquoise and diamond earrings were also the perfect accessory blending the whole look together. Oh and considering she just had a baby – I think we need to know who her trainer is!
5. Diane Kruger
Diane always looks on point at award ceremonies and last night she didn’t disappoint. I was so happy to see her wearing Emilia Wickstead one of my favourite fashion designers, debuting her as a new designer for the Red Carpet. Definitely one to watch.
Best Couple? Newly married George and Amal Clooney
It looks like having a Hollywood husband has rubbed off on Amal. She looked like a Parisian movie star last night, with an Audrey Hepburn feel to her look. She made a simple black dress look show stopping by adding those long white gloves. She was born to be on the Red Carpet, what an absolute beauty.
Here is a small clip of me and Henry Holland talking about Lorde last night:
